Learn More About Our Decks
Expand your living space and make the most of your backyard with a custom deck designed specifically for your home, property, and lifestyle. From traditional wood to low-maintenance composite materials, we’ll help you select the right options for your style, needs, and budget. Custom stairs, railings, built-in seating, lighting, covered areas, and other features can be incorporated to make your deck truly your own. We can also design your deck as part of a larger backyard transformation, seamlessly connecting it to a pool, outdoor kitchen, patio, fire feature, or entertaining area. The result is a durable, thoughtfully designed outdoor space where your family can gather, entertain, relax, and enjoy your backyard for years to come.
What types of decks can you build?
We can create decks in a variety of sizes, styles, and configurations, including traditional decks, elevated decks, multi-level designs, pool decks, and large entertaining spaces. Each deck is designed around your home, property, and how you plan to use the space.
Should I choose wood or composite decking?
Both can be great options depending on your priorities. Wood offers a classic, natural appearance, while composite decking is popular for its durability and lower maintenance requirements. We’ll help you compare materials, appearance, maintenance, and budget so you can choose what works best for your project.
Can you add custom features to my deck?
Absolutely. Your deck can include custom railings, stairs, built-in benches, lighting, privacy features, designated dining or grilling areas, and other details. We can also incorporate covered areas or connect the deck to other backyard features for a more complete outdoor living space.
Can you design a deck as part of a complete backyard project?
Yes. Artisan Backyard Company can design your deck to work seamlessly with pools, outdoor kitchens, patios, pavilions, fire pits, landscaping, and other outdoor features. By considering the entire backyard during the design process, we can create better flow between spaces and give the finished project a cohesive, intentional look.
